Permitted use
- Quoting and linking. Short quotations for journalistic, scholarly, or editorial purposes are permitted under fair-use principles; please attribute to the named Property and link to the original.
- Press kit. Brand assets distributed via the press kit may be used in connection with reporting on Osage Group and its sister entities, without modification.
- Research. Reproduction of materials for non-commercial scholarly research is permitted with attribution.
Restricted use
- Commercial republication of substantial portions requires written permission.
- Modification or recolouring of the Osage word mark, the arrowhead device, or the Wazhazhe wordmark is not permitted.
- Use of any mark, name, or device in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation requires written permission.
- Training of machine-learning models on any content of the Properties without written permission is prohibited.
Sovereignty & ceremonial protocol
The Osage Nation seal, official insignia, and ceremonial regalia, songs, dances, and sacred materials are not the intellectual property of Osage Group. They belong to the people who hold them, mediated by the Osage Nation acting through its own institutions. Osage Group does not depict, license, or commercialise these materials. Permission to reproduce or perform such materials must be obtained from the appropriate tribal authority, not from Osage Group.
Marks
- Osage, Osage Group, the arrowhead device, the OG monogram, and the gold × red flag-band ribbon are trade marks of Osage Group Holdings, LLC.
- The Wazhazhe wordmark (𐓏𐓘𐓻𐓘𐓻𐓟) is the people’s own name in their own writing — Osage script encoded in Unicode 9.0 (block U+104B0–U+104FF). Osage Group uses the wordmark under standing community licence and asserts no exclusive right in the script itself.
- Tinker Scholars, Wazhazhe Archive, Heritage Fund, HerStory are programme names of Osage Group and its sister entities.

If you believe content on the Properties infringes your copyright, send a DMCA-compliant notice to [email protected] including: identification of the copyrighted work; URL of the allegedly infringing material; your contact details; a statement of good-faith belief; a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act. Counter-notices follow the standard DMCA procedure.
Open-source
Where the Properties incorporate open-source components, the components are listed in the public source repositories at github.com/osagebrothers and github.com/osagedao with their original licences preserved.
