Partnerships
Ententes établies
As of 2026 and forward.
I. The Osage Nation
Osage Group operates with the standing acknowledgement that it is a creature of the diaspora and not the Osage Nation itself. The Nation, a federally recognised sovereign tribal government headquartered at Pawhuska, Oklahoma, speaks for itself at osagenation-nsn.gov. Coordination with the Nation, where it occurs, proceeds through the Nation’s own institutions on the Nation’s own terms.
II. The Office of the Keeper of the Sacred Fire
Le Gardien du Feu Sacré, Clan Enfumé de la Nation Osage
A standing covenant exists between Osage Group and the Office of the Keeper of the Sacred Fire of the Smoke Clan of the Osage Nation, held in the present generation by Chief Smoke Hunter DuPont. The covenant binds OB to defer to the Office on questions of clan relation and ceremonial protocol; to seek the Office’s express written consent before any public depiction or use of regalia, songs, dances, or ceremonial materials of the Smoke Clan or of the Osage Nation; and to provide such material support as the Office may from time to time request for the keeping of the Sacred Fire, offered as duty owed by the diaspora to the people, not as patronage.
Confidentiality on materials of ceremonial or sacred character is perpetual, without exception.
Working areas: clan relation; ceremonial protocol; the Tinker Memorial Song; scholarship and apprenticeship; Sacred Fire custodianship.

III. The Cyrus / Pahlavi Ecosystem (2026)
Mémorandum d’Entente entre Osage Group et la Maison Pahlavi
In 2026 Osage Group entered into a standing strategic partnership with the CYRUS / Pahlavi Ecosystem ( cyruspahlavi.com, cyrus.ngo, cyrus.cash ), founding-chaired by His Royal Highness Cyrus Pahlavi, who joined the Osage Group Board of Directors concurrent with execution.
The partnership covers four working areas:
- Diaspora capital. Coordinated treasury practices and long-horizon allocation across the Persian and Osage diasporas, run jointly by Osage Capital and the CYRUS treasury committee.
- Civic record. Joint scholarship, archival, and memorial programmes — including the HerStory documentary series, beginning with the life and witness of Her Imperial Highness Princess Ashraf Pahlavi.
- Sovereign infrastructure. Reciprocal deployment of identity, settlement, and ingress infrastructure between Osage ID / Osage Network and the corresponding CYRUS systems.
- Mutual recognition. Each ecosystem recognises the other’s scholars, fellows, and apprenticeship programmes; cross-listed fellowships open beginning in 2026.
Sovereignty clause: the Osage Nation is not a party to the MOU and is not bound by it; no sovereign government of Iran, in any present or future configuration, is a party to the MOU or is bound by it.
